I really like the trailer for the movie Precious! I see some NYU alum in there (shout outs to Xochtl) and I can recognize some of the scenes in the movie from my hood in Harlem! I feel so connected to many movies and shows now that I have been in New York for a minute!
I have yet to read the novel Push, but I hear it is along the lines of the Coldest Winter Ever. Plus I heard that it was on point at Sundance.
What are your thoughts on the trailer/book PUSH?

this movie is LONG OVERDUE!.....READ that book....its a fast read.....it was the first black novel id read for leisure....
this trailer is FIRE....the soundtrack is even hot....
